Things to know about our property

We rely solely on solar power and as such our electrical supply reflects this.  Please help us to conserve our power by turning Lights off where possible.  We have a generator which is used when necessary and we will let you know if there is a need to utilize it before turning it on.  We ask that you refrain from entering the sheds that contain the solar power equipment and should you be interested in seeing how things work, please ask for a guided tour!

Our water supply is also reliant upon the weather – we love rain!  The tanks around the property store and supply water to all the dwellings and as such we try to use water sparingly as it is a precious commodity in the bush.  It is safe to drink, however you may wish to boil it prior to drinking.

Gas is used to heat the water in the cabins & to fuel the fridges, stoves & heaters.

The Toilets are also composting (non flush).  Don’t worry you will be surprised how this works and it’s very comfortable and modern.  Please read the instructions for use in the toilets.

Our Veggie patch is under a major re-construction.  By next Spring we hope to have this garden blooming with fresh organic vegetables

The BBQ area and children’s playground/cubby house are also there for you to make use of, so please feel free to light up the BBQ and let the children have a swing or a slide.

The nearest shop is Termeil and is a 25 min drive away.  Should you find you need to stock up on supplies,  refer to the mud map for directions on how to get there.  Alternatively you could go to Ulladulla or Milton.
